My daughter was offered the place in both of these schools in FS1 and we chose Gems Wellington because it seemed to be more organised and the staff also appeared to be mostly native English speakers (even the receptonist). Also they have a very good infrastructure as compared to DBS Wakrah. Besides, the staff was very welcoming and the over all atmosphere was that of enthusiasm and positivity.
They took no application or Assessment fees.Just the registration fees whereas DBS Wakrah took Qr 850(application and assessment fees) the moment we entered and most of the staff appeared not to be native English speakers. Also infrastructure was not very impressive.
Moreover Gems Wellington group is well known name outside Qatarea
Though at the moment it's difficult to comment on the quality of education it will offer.
Anyone else whose child (ren) are going to Gems wellington please comment
