I am disappointed cause AIS has still no school bus and the car lift asked so much.it's more than the school's tuition.

Thank you all for the informative idea. My child is already enrolled in AIS.I'm just frustrated cause until now they have no school bus yet and the car lift that we have contacted asked for so much. It's more than the school's tuition.

We applied for reservation last april and failed to get the exam on that month but when we visited the school last may they still accepted my son.  Also my son just had a new classmate lst week.  Have you visited the school personally? just try.

School bus is not a big problem. Since AIS will ask for QR400 for SB fee, with the same amount you can hire someone to drop and pick your child there.

I agree with tinkerbell, don't make it hard for your kid...the language difference is a big problem already, and of course the school curriculum, we have different methods of teachings and your kid might feel he is a cast out in there, plus culture diff he might find it hard to understand.  Better to sorround him with filipino kids also...my son goes to school for the first time he's in PSD nursery level and it was difficult on the first week he cries when i leave him there. It's better to leave your kid with someone you know who can talk in same language...

As for me, i am comfortable talking to his teacher and I can explain my concerns further....

www.psdqatar.com  hi, check with PSD, i think they are still accepting late enrollees and you can check the fees on their web, they have payment options where you can pay monthly or quarterly  and Asian Integrated School which is also near PSD.
