Help needed with US student Visa

Hi, I am applying for a US student visa. On the list of required documents it says that I need a Pink Commercial Bank recipt and a Yellow Commercial bank recipt.

I have no idea what these receipts are. Could any one of you please let me know.

Also, I DO NOT bank with Commercial Bank. Only HSBC, what am I supposed to do now. Will the Embassy accept what ever these recipts are from HSBC ??

Please Advise.

Also, if u applied for a US visa earlier, fill me in with necessary details.

Hi jarhead, I'm not sure exactly what they mean by a "pink/yellow commercial bank receipt" either. I'm going to guess that they are using "commercial" in a generic sense, i.e. any bank. But it's best to call the US Embassy and ask. Just request the Consular section. Or try www.state.gov and look under Qatar. Alternatively you could call your bank and see if they know what is meant by a pink or yellow receipt. Good luck, what school are you going to?
