I need to know about the nurseries or pre-schools near to Al-Markhiya R/A or Al-Duhail park. Can anyone help me in this regard. My son is about 4 years old.
I am interested in nurseries that follow British or Australian teaching methods or atleast where these two English accents are dominant.
try Starfish lane in al markhiya. they have an australian curriculum as well so that fits with your criteria.
you have to go shop for school at least 2 months before you intend to let her to attend since most or popular nurseries have a wait list.
check out doha mums' website which has a quick list - a guide for nurseries that are categorized already. it is not an exhaustive list but it is indeed a good start for you.
I highly recommend ElderTree. My daughter attended there age 4-5 and she loved it - very kid friendly environment. They are located not far from Burger King roundabout and also not far from Landmark Mall, depending on which direction you're coming from. My husband and I were both very pleased with this school and we thought the staff were wonderful. I don't know if the same Director is there, but her name was Sana (sp?) and she was excellent.
I'm not sure if the # below is correct. You could probably also find an advertisement for them in the Marhaba.
