State of our Kababayans at Industrial Area

I don't know how many of you have read this article in The Peninsula yesterday.

http://www.thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local_News&sub...

I just finished reading it when someone PM'ed me about it without any comments. Maybe he/she was just letting me know the action or better yet the inaction of our Labour Attache. I am not sure if he was quoted verbatim but his answer was like a hard pill to swallow. He said (according to the article) "Somebody from the workers has to stand up and file a legitimate complaint.” Imagine, these workers are already being harassed. Will they have the courage to stand up and file a case?
Come on, why don't you launch an investigation into the matter and if you find they have a legitimate complaint then file a case on their behalf. Maybe from this action they will have the courage to stand up. But if you show indifference to their plight then would they have the courage to stand up?
I always pray I don't get into trouble while I am away from our country because I know I can't rely on our Embassy's help. They will only help if they are exposed on media but if not, they are back to their incompetent ways again.
What's your take on this problem of our kababayans?
