where's the faith?

i attended mass at psd yesterday & oh geez pinoys never change!

there used to be a big poster saying "NO CELLPHONES, NO SEAT RESERVATION, NO TALKING" posted everywhere. nawala no po ito at hindi po dahil natuto na tayong sumunod. nawala lang po ang poster pero ang maling ugali ay andun pa rin!

just before the mass is about to start, i noticed a row of empty chairs with bags, caps, plastic bag, etc on it. obviously an attempt to fool everyone that the seats are taken. they even have the nerve to lie to the ushers saying the seat 'owners' are just having a snack. in fact, those seats were reserved by their friend for their friends who are running late. 3rd world mentality talaga & walang disiplina!

before & during the mass, you will certainly hear cellphones ringing. how hard it is to put those cp's on silent mode just for one hour? don't they realize that they will disturb the serenity of the mass with their cp's?

also even during mass, you will hear people around you talking. some are loud enough to mask what the lector & priest are saying.

then as you start to leave, people at the gates leave disorder pushing & shoving & some males have malicious intents with the ladies. the disorder doesn't stop there, wait till you see the action at the parking lot which looks a lot like demolition derby! singitan unahan iringinan & minsan pa nga may nag-suntukan pa!

finally, i don't think many of the pinoys attend mass to exercise their faith. many are just there celebrating the occassion of their personal interests... tagpuan lang, girl/boy-watching, & other activities besides hearing the mass.

if we pinoys couldn't even respect the house of GOD, then how can we respect others & even ourselves?
