last April 15, 2009 @ around 1:35 pm, we are on the way to Doha from Al ruwais Customs and general ports authority for several maintenance. Suddenly a big trailer truck from the other side of the road doing a U-turn(maybe the driver of the truck did not see us)and our driver get rattled in just second we bumped into the truck. 3 Filipino technicians(including me)at the back passenger seat, the driver and one Palestine engineer on the front. I can remember most of the things happened, we here transported to the nearest hospital(Al Khor)except for one filipino technician who was airlifted directly to Doha. 4 of us were alive one day after except for that air-lifted patient. the driver suffered several injury on part of his ribs and wounds, our engineer had abdominal operation and some bone fracture, my fellow Filipino worker got sever head wound and abrasions, me luckily after confined at the ICU due to sever and lacerated head wound found another life that I owe. April 18, 2009 i was discharged at the hospital and i am worried if this is right. Doing self medications and i am uncomfortable during bed times, including the issue if i could get any benefits from the insurance or whatever is involved. I don't have any exact idea what to do, since i still 1 year and 3 months here and having this scary experience.

Now I understand why we always get flipping truck accidents around here! They don't know how to drive a big truck!

If you have your RP, all your medical costs will be covered. If you want to receive money on top of that, you will need to make a claim against the truck driver in small claims court. My friend has just finished going through this and got a substantial amount. However, it took her 2 1/2 years (yes years) and numerous court appearances for this to happen.

I'm sorry to hear that bad experience of yours and I am glad that everybody now is ok.

let the insurance company compensate you for all the damages, injuries and expenses that they brought to you and to your colleagues.

Wishing you all the best and luck..
