Anyone transported any Pets from the UK to Qatar?
By sophie mccann •
Hi,
My husband has been offered a job in Doha and it really is a great opportunity for us - unfortunatley we have a dog and a horse. I would very much like to bring them over with us - does anyone have any information or suggestions?
My horse is an arab x,(orginally transported from Italy) so I think she will adapt quickly. (mad hey - why do we have these animals)
Hi Dohagirl,
Yes I will be flying her out - have contacted a company called John Parker Horse Transport that will arrange everything - have to wait for a shared load gonna cost about 4K - looks like I will have to give pony rides to pay off my loan!
We intend to bring her over after we have settled in and I will need to find somewhere to keep her - shes arab X - imagine in comparisam to the beautiful Qatari arabs she will probably look like a camel!
hmm for some reason i read that eSCAMS not ecsams
i was thinking maybe they'd steal your money and make burgers and nuggets out of your horse
silly fish..
SO that's how they get you out of the country than? :P
They fly them DG but it ain't cheap

Sophie, out of curiosity let us know if you can bring the horse over and how. I'm trying to figure out whether they would fly it, ship it or what? I can't imagine ground transportation is an option.
The dog will be no problem.
Will do, thanks dohagirl- you're a star!
Contact Petsgo, or QatarPetRelocators. They will have all the info you need. :)
