I buy from Damas Lulu C ring road only..Their design and authentication is branded.Malabar gold I dont trust becoz their making charges are extra ordinary high than few months back they were giving 50% off on diamond jewellery.I bought one pair of earrings and later on the relative whom i gifted back home told me that that was not worth the value i paid here in Doha... :(
The issue Is not with Atlas jewelry, it is with the jewelry at India. Whenever they buy gold, specially if its bought from gulf, they would say it is not 916 in order to reduce the price. I had similar experience few months back in India. But I was quite sure it was 916 gold, once i started arguing they simply accepted it as 916 and paid for me the full amount.
When you are buying any chain, you can ask them to show that 916 is printed in the hook. I believe in all Jewelery there will be a mark of 916 in somewhere to identify it. If not through plain eye but at least through magnified Glasses. So make sure you ask the salesperson the same and anywhere you buy you have to bargain in the making charges anyway. It's up to your talent. Gold prices across all outlets are same the difference is in the making charges. Malabar Gold, Damas and Joyalukkas all similar IMO.
Malabar, Sky, Atlas many here. But i am not sure whether they all are selling 916 gold or not. 3 yrs back i bought one chain and earring from Atlas jewellery Lulu branch. I dont have bill now. Yesterday my family tried to sell this gold in Kerala, but they are telling its not 916 gold. So they will deduct too much amount. But when i bought from Atlas they told me that its 916 gold. Now no bill. What to do. I dont know.
I have one option. I can sell this one Atlas branch. But its too far from from my home. So when you will buy take care and make sure that its 916. Dont loose money.
