CANON 500D or ?

Which DSLR did u go for and which lens and which shop.

Please share the price as well.:-)

I wud suggest if ur a budding photographer and its ur first DSLR and Budget is bit of constraint,THEN

go for 1000D, and other lenses besides kit lens.

U can go for 50mm,70-300mm (sigma) or 50-250mm(cannon) plus a good tripod.

U can survive with kit lens for some time but u gotta buy other lenses in some time and tripod too.

also dont forget to upgrade memory to higher spec.

Qr4200 with kit lens..

How much is the 550D ?

The canon 550d is out its almost the same rather than the 18mp sensor on the 550d compared to 500d.

I would suggest you to go for the 50d its way better the Body only costs around QR4990 at Salam Plaza.

Are you a budding photographer or just jumping in the bandwagon?

If you are going to be serious with photography, go with 50D with its magnesium alloy case and more advanced features. If you just want to buy because DSLR is the "in" thing nowadays, go buy it. You wouldn't care about the lens anyway.
