The College of the North Atlantic in Duhail
Hiya All
Your urgent reponse would be appreciated please.
This is about the College of the North Atlantic located in Duhail.
I am doing some research and I'm hoping there are some CNAQ students out there who can help me.
If you are a non-national and have been accepted as a student for any one of their full time diplomas, have you been placed on their waitlist until further notice? If so, how long have you been waiting for a place/seat from the time you got accepted until now?
Any feedback from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Thanks kopy50 you're right but I cant afford the Uni fees plus this waitlist situation for non-nationals will be at those places too. Thats why I want to give it a good go at CNAQ and also I still think that despite this problem, they are still a very good choice for Diplomas. Though I intend having a back up plan as you suggest.
I've been speaking to a number of people at CNAQ who have provided some further details about the waitlist situation for non-nationals. From my conversations with them, I believe there is a very good chance the powers to be will sort something out in time for Fall Semester 2013 (matters are too late for January start date for us). I also heard they have suspended new applications for certain over capacity study programmes until they 'clear' the backlog.
If you and the people you know wish to do something that will make a difference whereby CNAQ will be inclined to make a decision in our favour, then the best thing we can do is to contact them in writing (I have the email address for the Registrar and the Vice President) to present our frustrations and viewpoints therefore compelling them to consider us and make the necessary arrangements for people like us.
Are you guys interested in writing to them?
thing is we underwent the same issue that your facing. Its actually a very chaotic system at the college with nothing well organised.
I know many people facing the same issue who have been put on waiting list and with absolutely no confirmation if they may get admission in the coming batch.
My suggestion would be to stop wasting time with CNAQ to avoid disappointment and start looking for other universities.
Thanks for the advice kopy50 but I would still like to try to find out what's going on. I hear lots of non-nationals students applied this year and many are on the waitlist.
It's unfair of CNAQ to accept someone as a student but then put them on a waitlist for about a year.
Can I ask? have you or someone you know applied there? are you a non-national?
If you don't mind me asking, what is your situation with them?
Thank a lots, appreciate your input.
Hi,
I suggest u dont waste your time over it because these people dont ever bother to send you any intimation regarding the admission
