My advice Never do it they are liars what are you suffering from?

Consult medical doctor ...

One thing i could advise you go to Hamad Blood contribution section and donate a liter of your blood by this way you saved a life and you got rid of some blood.

Having experienced it a few times, it does seem to do some good. After prodding away at different points in the neck and back region, the hijama guy determines where to apply the cup sucking contraptions. He basically asks when kneaded area hurts more than an area nearby..... you do feel a major pain difference,,,with the more painful almost feeling it a pin.

The blood that seeps out the multiple little cuts into the cup solidifies into what I can only decribe as a piece of liver. When the blood runs clean and does not solidfy, thats when he removes the cup.

Apparently, when our blood clots, the residue remains inside us. Also...apparently.... when we bang part of our body, again the blood in that area sort of solidifies.... so part of the gunk coming out via blood letting is the above.......

Seems that a more modernized version is being used in Germany for strokes. If a person is seen quite quickly following a stroke, hijama really assists with reducing the aftermath problems some may occur...

No harm done by doing it really as long at the little knife type thing has been sanitized!

Not immensely painful for anyone wondering..... uncomfortable yes but the worst part is the disinfectent spray when he is done.... sharp to put it mildly...

scars disappear....in about 2 weeks....

I guess there are certified/authorized people from Awqaf as well. You can check with them. But would recommend never do it at home by yourself.

Never Ask for a SMILE..just GIVE it..

They were selling the cups at Ramez (behind Jarir) So if you want to do it at home, that is where you can find the cups.
