Eye Examination for drivers license

Hi,

I work in an office near Al Bustan Hotel in Old Salata. I have a spanish drivers license, and would like to change it to a qatari one. I have all the paperwork ready, except for the eye exam.

Does anyone know of a place in the Old Salata area where I can check it out? Please dont mention Lulu near airport road as I prefer not doing it there for personal reasons.

If you could give specific directions as well as the name of the place, or any other useful information, that would be fantastic!

Police centre next to wholesale market (just across the Salwa road from you) eye exams mornings only. You will need to go to the new ploice building near the TV (Al Jazeera) roundabout to get your licence so probably easier to do both in one go there.

Madinat Khalifa Traffic Department is not doing eye test now. Better go to the authorized Clinics or Optics.

If you go to City Center there is Yateem Optics present there. They will do it for around QR 50.

Just go to Madinat Khalifa Driving License authority and do it there for free.
