FAKE I-PHONE CLASSIFIEDS

ya 100 % agree with this opinion, mobile phone numbers and e-mails must be verified then only be associate with personal account otherwise should stop this option to enter a phone number and email. only keep in contact through qatar living personal message system, that sure will make qatar living a big scam website.

As few days back same kind of incident happend with me too, some one posted a wrong GSM number with one classified that number belongs to a elder/big shiekh from a well known family, by dialing that number i got troubled and i do escape only after 10 time say him sorry and told him the real issue and reason.

i suggest to buy from the people selling i phones in doha face to face to be safe. i have i phone willing to give it at 2400 3g 16gb 3.0 os latest version. very good condition.

warning tip showed on each classified page i am agree with that, but the real issue is fake GSM and email supplided with more then 60 % classifieds, my concern about that only,

how we have to confirm the person posting is real one if the GSM provided is from qatar only, problem arise when we call that GSM number and troubled a innocent person who didnt know even some one wrongly posted his phone number on internet site.....like qatar living.

fraud usually happens online espcially with sites like these... did any of u ever check out the little pop up on top of the screen abt hw u avoid fraud... in case u havent here it is....

NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.)

Quick Tip: Make Sure the Seller is in Qatar by checking for a local phone number and don't ever buy anything listed in $. Read Avoiding Scams and Fraud for more advice.

well from their advertisement the mere fact it says "shipping within 48 hours" means the unit will come from other countries, such as US or UK. what i am worried about is that if they are really selling those iphones and not a bunch of fonies! if i pat thru western union or credit card, how sure i am it will reach my doorstep, or the money is gone!

Agree it became annoying specially if they put a number which happens to be somebody else!! i called a number for a same type of adv who was a local & believe me VERY angry as he was receiving calls from morning for an adv he has no idea about. KINDY do something to solve the same.
