Hello brother, the info given by rej2k7 is old and outdated. The current information is you can take visit visa for your mother in law for only 3 months and extend to 1 month more(if you visit Madinat khalifa and meet captain) also its upto you to speak with captain and convince him to extend to another 2 or 3 months. But general rule is 3 months +1 month for mother in law. As for your own mother, she can stay for 6 months+1 month(meeting captain in Madinath khalifa). After her stay, when she will leave out of qatar, you can apply visit visa after 1 month, so that she can come again.

I'd really appreciate, if i get any info regarding to keep our parents permanently here in Qatar. is there any visa or any criteria where they can stay here permanently.

Please Visit Mad: Khalifa passport office and request, they will advise.

If needed visit the Captain, and request, he will approve.
