YOU KNOW THERE A LOT OF PEOPLE SEEKING AN ADVICE IN QL BUT THEY RECEIVED A SARCASTIC ANSWER TO THEIR INQUIRY , WHY DID YOU RESPONSE IN A PROPER WAY SO HE CAN GET A GOOD RESPONSE OR ADVICE TO HIS PROBLEM. DON'T BE A FOOL, PLACE YOUR SELF IN THEIR SITUATION. AND DO NOT COMPARE THE CAPABILITY OF YOUR CO NATIONALITY DOCTORS THAT HIS OWN CHOICE , AND WE KNOW EVEN IN FAR PLACE OF THE UNIVERS YOU WANT TO CONQUER. SO WE DON'T HAVE ANY OBJECTION ON YOUR HALLUCINATIONS!!!

james...is it a sign of severity of anemia if som1 is constantly having blood in stool? a hospital confinement is necessary also for that?

sorry, you can't have a Filipina doctor for your wife;

they are so in demand that they are engaged even before they graduate!

Comeon Sal, people prefer to consult with doctors belonging to their own nationality.Its not uncommon. he may have had a bad experience with the last doctor he consulted, so it just puts a doubt in the mind. Its easier communication and the feel at ease factor.

robherr, did you get a haemoglobin check done for her.

you can go to any laboratory or clinic and request for the test. this will confirm if she is severly anemic or not. most private clinics have GP's who can handle this problem.dont get worried, if you are unable to find a philipino doctor.

in the meantime, make sure that she is having lots of iron rich foods.

Hope she feels well soon.

yes you can choose the doctors there. and han19 is right, the comments in tagalog you see appearing are under a group named "Filipino Expatriate in QL" you can request to be a member there.
