Hamad Health Card

I never knew that getting a Hamad Health Card would be so tedious. Getting to know the PHC under which your residential area belongs to, is so complicated and every one has a different opinion. I first went to Hamad Hospital; they checked my documents and advised me to go to Mesaimeer HC as my residential area (# 39, Fereej Al Nasr) falls under that PHC. But when i approached the above PHC the authorities said that i should enrol in Abu Nakhla HC which is far far away from my area (I drove to Abu Nakhla Health Center just to check the exact location and it is 30 Km. away from my home).  i am still cluless how can they assign a PHC so far from the residence.

Also, i checked with one of my colleagues who stays in the same area (around 100 m away from my home) and she told that she had registered from Mesaimeer PHC around 1 year ago.

i will be very happy if anybody can advice whether they had a similar experience and whom to approach for the Health Card. Also, i don't have a Housing contract and the Kahrama Bill comes under my landlord's name. Will this bill be accepted for applying for Health Card? Please advice.

Dear Sumesh, many thanks for your advice; I will immediately enroll with Abu Nakhla, as having the card with a PHC even far away is better than not having it at all.

Mesaimeer HC is full they are not taking any new registrations, my friend staying in Al saad is also issued Health card for Abu Nakhla. Naeem I'll advice you to take Abu Nakhla HC asap before its also full, by the time school reopens there will be huge rush for new health cards and then same like we get appointment dates of 1-2 months to consult an doctor, there will be waiting period of 1-2 months for Health card registrations also.

I would advise Khalli to be in Al Khor , But he has to promised in QL to stop thinking that all except him are idiots in Qatar , If he continue with this mental disorder then i would prefer permanent rest then staying in Qatar , What a hypocrisy to leave in country which has everything negative .

It's Khalli who has to choose ..... If permanent rest is required then remain in Abu Hamour. ..
