Help! Battery's are dying
Hi everyone,
I've noticed that ever since I have moved to Qatar, my phone and laptop battery's are getting worse and worse!
The first day I moved here, I left my iphone in charge overnight. Woke up, the battery was on 80% even though it was still in the charger. Now my phone is lucky to last half a day, and is getting worse by the recharge.
Also I have noticed my laptop used to last me 3 hours, it is lucky to last one hour without charge now.
Why is this happening to all my electricals? Is the voltage here too high? Anybody having these problems too?
Thank you.
batteries, huh? Lol! You're the one good in handling tools and fixing pipes? Lol!
Or probably, there's a battery epidemic going on in your place, see? All your batteries are dying :P lol
well, if your laptop is HP, no need to wonder, as their battery easily drained out.
For ur phone, you could turn off some settings to save more of your battery, turn off the wifi, or any backlight, wallpaper in your phone.
Best option, get a new phone and a laptop.
Jayca is right. Maybe your oer charging your batteries hence damaging them.
It only means that you need to CHANGE (not charge) your batteries :p
Im not sure if it is true or not, but they say not to overcharge your phone as it may damage the battery, maximum charging time is 2-3 hours.
wifi can be one reason if u r using it, if ur cell phone is always connected and the laptop. other electrical appliances are ok dont think about them. cheers up...

Rechargable batteries 'age' and its charge retaining capacity deteriorate with time. If it was not Qatar, it would have happened anywhere. Voltage in Qatar remains constant most of the time.
