How to certify and attest from O/L level certification to Degree certifications from Sri lanka (Eg: BCS, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, CA and many more) from Batharamullah(Isurupaya),Foreign ministry affair and Qatar embassy.

This is to those who need to go to Qatar.

Hi assalamu alaikum . I am Arshad Mohammed  MBCS Graduate (BCS-IT).I found difficulties when attesting my certification Because it is my first time of attesting  So I am sharing my experience to you all, it is easy process if you know where to go ? when to go?

Summary

1. Certify from local Organization-Institute (True copy)
2. Get your O/L and A/L Certification from Batharamullah. 
3. True copy approval and cerify
4. Attest from Foreign Ministry affair
5. Attest from Qatar embassy

1)     Certify your certificates from Local Authority.

*This is the place where you were studied In my case I am from Esoft So I have requested a true copy from esoft. Its simple Just get a photocopy of your certification and ask them to make it as true copy and aslo show the original certs to them.

* Make Sure you will get 2 or more stamp seal in your photocopy while true coping.

1) Stamp seal- Educational Seal –includes Name of organization, number and all.(Esoft seal).

2) Stamp seal- Who approved the true copy with name – Basically manager level person will Stamped and sign here.

So make Sure Both of this are have in your true copy if not you can’t certify your certs

Here I will tell you what I do (BCS Certification attest) same process for other qualification also slight differences.

2)     Go to Isurupaya on Batharamullah (Higher education Ministry)

*To obtain your O/L or A/L certification and make sure transfer the RESULT Certification to foreign ministry affair, You need to tick in a form as transfer it to foreign ministry.

3)     Check your qualification is from Sri lanka or overseas(UK), If your certification is in Sri lanka. I mean the organizational body. You need to certified from TVEC (Territory Vocational and educational center) organization. Obtain a letter from them as approved certification.

*When you doing all these process. make sure you have a Original certification along with photocopies.

If your certification is overseas, I mean if it is UK qualification. TVEC will not approve your certification.

There are 2 ways to do this.(Only one is required: Any of one) . (This is to approve from foreign ministry affair.)

1)     Obtain a letter from your Head or regional office (BCS, ACCA, and CIMA) as it is Approved and ready to attest from Foreign ministry affair. It should be in there letterhead. Before going there make a call a get a request) * low cost.

2)     You can also do from British council but it is High cost they will charge Rs.3000/- for each certification. In my case Rs.9000/- 3 certs.

All this things are doing because to certify from foreign Ministry and Qatar embassy. Just follow these rules.

*While doing these process make sure to ask ( Is this enough to attest from foreign ministry?)

 03). Ministry of foreign Affairs.

Go to Ministry of foreign affair and give the any of each  1 true copy that is certified by approved body either Approved via Organizational letter on Letterhead or British council certified .I am repeating any of one not both. 

4). Qatar Embassy

Finally go to Qatar embassy and attest your certification. The cost of here also high each certificate they will charge Rs.5000/-  So  you have a degree certification or Higher education qualification you no need to attest O/L or A/L Certification from Qatar embassy just Foreign ministry attestation is enough(If you need you can do). You need go inside before 11.30 on Monday to Friday.

I am repeating Each of these process have Limited Time. Before that You need to Handover the Documents
