Just because it is on the internet, doesn't make it fact.

Firstly, the Islamic New Year has been and gone.

Secondly, the Islamic New Year isn't marked as a public holiday in Doha anyway.

Muslims doesnt have new year celebrations , Islamic calender was established for the purpose of calculations for various period during the rule of Caliph Umar.

The year is calculated back from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH migration to madinah due to oppression and tortures in Makkah.
