Great...How the travelling was?? is it normal delivery ...both are safe? Am 33 weeks now..planning to travel to home country just 5 hrs journey...any suggestion please.
3 months pregenancy is not a problem with the airlines but if they did find out that you are pregnant then they will want a report that confirms that. So better to not let them know that you are pregnan and just travel as a regular person.
I travelled to Manila during my 33-34weeks of pregnancy and I need to submit the form that Qatar Airways gave me. My OB took an ultrasound and filled-up the form to be submitted. It was a very difficult travel since the oxygen level is different and need to hydrate more. I suggest, asks your OB regarding your travel because first trimester of pregnancy is the most sensitive part as the baby is developing each day.
As such there is no problem in travelling with a 3 month pregnancy, however, some physicians do recommend not to undergo strong motions and jerks upto 4 months. ashraf noor is right in this regard because its a fact that the placenta gradually gets stronger in the womb with time and the chances of natural abortion due to external factors are greatly reduced after about 4 months of conception.
the best person to decide on your question is her OB-GYN.http://support.qatarairways.com/entries/233023-can-i-travel-on-a-qatar-airways-flight-while-pregnant
No problem with the airlines, its just 3 months, you just need to take care of yourself during travel time, 9 hours is tiring, since your pregnant, you could do some stretching or walk in the aisle of the plane from time to time for the good circulation of your blood.
As far as I know, there's no problem with the airlines at this stage (3 months)...but it depends upon the lady's health state. 9 hrs' travel is too long and it would be painful for the lady so avoid travelling during pregnancy.
Some airlines say that they don't allow a pregnant woman to fly if she's already in her 3rd trimester. But I've heard stories of a friend of a friend (of a friend...) was able to board a flight to Manila and so on and so forth. Now my firsthand experience (my wife that is): She travelled from Doha to Manila last year during her 2nd trimester. Qatar Airways gave me this form to fill up and had to be signed by a doctor. After that its all clear to the airport.
Doctor did not recommend for her to travel within the 1st trimester. Reason being that the fetus is at its most fragile state. Combine that with the 3rd trimester limit from the airline and you get the 2nd trimester window to travel.

Before completion of 7 months is ok. After 7 months, they will not allow you.
the least is 28-32 weeks with doctor's certificate

dont reccommend before 4 months..
No issues untill you hit the 7th month.
Airlines don't have a problem unless you are traveling during late third trimester.
But check with the doctor if the 9 hr journey is ok. Usually travel is allowed in the second trimester.
If she decides to travel, wear loose comfy clothes, keep moving during the flight, drink lots of water.
