marriage in phil embassy
i just want to ask about marriage requirements in philippine embassy..
me and my fiancee are filipino..
1. we are both 24 years old, do we need parental consent for marriage? if yes, can one of our parents sign it or it should be both parents?
2. we have CENOMAR and BIRTH CERT from nso and authenticated with red ribbon dated march 2012 before i came here to doha. will it still be valid? or we need to get a new one?
3. is it really necessary for NOC from our company? what if my sponsor will not give me, is there other option?
thank you so much..
i hope you can help me..
Godbless..
I am after if its okay with the Qatari Law?
Strange question.. If you love each other and want to get married, then why ask strangers for "pros" and "cons" ?
*law
Hi, my fiancee and I are planning to marry (both Filipino). However she is twice my age, im 30 male. Is there a low that could restrict us from getting married here? We are running this relationship for 3 years now. Her daughter is also working here and its fine with her. I just need to check the Pros and cons.

And now he's bullying me here.
But there's a saying "Don't argue with stupid people, they will bring you down to their level and beats you by experience."
Therefore I'll never argue anymore with Lucky Luciano. I will never go down to his level. Sorry folks for the irrelevant post.
why are some people so mean..
no wonder some love more dogs than humans, coz most dogs are lovely..
doesn't make you an expert on Family Codes and legislatures of our country.
be nice...please.
Unfriendlyme, I lived in Philippines Bulacan province (bucawey)so don't try to teach about Philippine marriages and Divorces to me. I have been to more place in PHI which you can not even dreamed of.

He may be jesting about the topic but that doesn't mean he's stupid.

Congratulations to the both of you!
You better call the Philippine Embassy here in Doha, one thing im sure is that you really need to get a NOC from your current employer.
With regards to the validity of the CENOMAR and Birth Cert., I think its still valid as most have a validity of one year from date of issuance.
With regards to parents consent, i think you're both of legal age so you dont need.
Goodluck and Congrats!!!
