Need advice to deposit post dated cheque
By saravanaa2006 •
Dear All, I had given an amount to a guy long back and after continuous follow up he has given a cheque for the date of 2-Feb-15 in commercial bank, Qatar. But i need amount urgently. Also i don't believe that guy. Is there any option to deposit the post dated cheque before the mentioned date? Please advice. Need your advise urgently
Dear Coxtown, I have his QID copy. In which way it is useful to get back my money?
Dear newexpatqatar admin, I checked his exit permit status. He didn't get exit so far. Also i strongly believe that he will not fly.
Actually the matter is he told me that he will repay my money through cash in 2 days and get back his cheque. But if i ask now he is telling that he can give cash on Feb-1. This s not the first time he s bluffing like this. His mobile no and whatsapp no is still active, but he doesn't respond. That's why i thought to deposit that cheque urgently. If in case the cheque is bounced back on Feb-2 what is the procedure to get back the money?
Dear Shaik Sohail, Thanks for your words. I will come to you if the cheque is bounced back on feb-2. Can u explain how to proceed further if cheque is bounced?
Dear Abishek, Thanks
Use this link, input his Qatar id no. & check if he already has a exit permit issued..If yes, then be sure that his account has no money & he's going to run away ..

I think ..he will fly back out of qatar before that date !
Or he may be genuine ..He's just waiting for his salary to be credited on 1st, so that you can withdraw on the 2nd..
Sorry, you must deposit on the date only and ait for result, that's why it is called as post dated cheque. By and large, world wide, there is no such bank available for our urgency, also check whether is he planning to leave the country before that date. Better take a copy of his ID card for safety reasons.
if 2 feb finish if ne not give money if no one help u ask help with me i will help u
No you cant deposit before the chq date but if the chq is bounced then you can complain to capital police and get your money back.
