I am an Arab & muslim woman who is in love and relationship with a non muslim british man.
Anyone can advise how we can get married here in Doha. He indeed knows that he needs to convert to Islam but we need to know, from where to start and what to do.

Thank you for any help.

you need to go to the Shariaa court for him to take his Shahada.

Even if it's bit late. thank you for taking time to reply.

We actually get in touch with Fanar and he will start the process 2nd week oF DEC.

We are also trying to see with the guest center for more information.

Another thing is, you need to check with your emabssies. It does not say which nationality you are but if you are Qatari, you will need to start with your parents, your government etc for the legal issues. For the Islamic issues, you can go to Qatar Guest Centre or al Fanar. Info about these centres is on the Muslim group site of QL.

Qatar Guest center offers all Islamic courses, not just arabic. Tell them he wants to convert, they may be confused.

Also Fanar, but you need to go to the Shariah court for him to take his Shahadah, they will direct him to which center he has to go. He will need to take a certificate from the Government assigned center after the center is convinced he has completed the proper courses and such.

Good luck.

But I came to understand that they provide only Arabic language courses, not any Islamic one.
