New e-gates [AT] Doha International Airport

Don't know if this is the right board to post this in. Has anyone signed up for the new e-gate immigration service at Doha Airport? Could you give us more info?

read about it in the paper yesterday and today they have launched some Smart Qatari ID cards..which will also be available for Expats next year...and those can be used even at the E-gates, pretty cool to have everything in one card...its about time..my wallet is full of cards!
