Nikon P100-Camera buying advice needed

Heyy there all..

Am planning to buy a digital camera soon, and would like to buy an intermediate one (between a compact and DSLR)

My choice as of now is the Nikon P100. Has anyone got any suggestions/recommendations or advice of the same... My budget is the same as the cost of the P100 i.e. under QAR 2000.

Check that ad. This is a like-new camera I had for almost 2 years and did not have the opportunity to really use. So I decided to sell it.
