Sorry mod(just carried away in the situation)

To all kabayan who will read these and to all who may know whats the answer please try to,,

We have one co-worker that get a stroke last Nov 8 due to high blood and her left brain have suffer blood clot. Due to this her right body is paralyze and she cannot talk and move.

The question is this" she resigned from the company and her last day is last Nov 2. Is she still under the sponsor responsibilities?? From that time of her attack she is still waiting for all her papers to finished (inckuding last pay and etc.) In short they are still not given anything eitheir ticket or exit.

Because untill now we still have any news from the HR what will they do or advice to her brother.

We already ask for assistance at owwa, and they told us if she is applied for membership there will be no problem and her family or her can take.

This is only the way we can help her to clear all the question that bothering her and us!

if anybody want to visit her just pm me for her room no.

thanks and waiting for your answer..

There must be someone who would consistently follow up her papers with the HR to speed up the processing.

if thats the case u need to go to labor department and complain, Our embassy cant do anything, they can assist us on what to do. and when she got back in manila then u can go direct to OWWA and apply (OFW disability).

nylha, please ask the Labor department regarding her case. coz i think the sponsors are still liable for her well- being since the visa is not yet cancelled eventhough she had resigned already.

kbayan if she resign nov. 2 and employer already sign, you can get all benifits, if her visa is still under company. the question is why shes still here when she get paralyze? usually all company if you give ur resignation at least 1 month from the date of resignation and their HR will arrange evertything for her before Nov.2, u got my point?

what did the OWWA told you?provided she's a member or not they should help her because she's a filipino!hey Phil. embassy, you should extend your arms for this kind of situation!!do not just seat there in your office and wait for 100QR document's processing fee!Kabayan I guess she's still under the obligations of your company because she's still in this country..Godbless..
