Part-time nanny vs. live-in - visa procedures
Hello,
I need some information and help on what the process is in Qatar.
If we want to hire a part time nanny - say to take care of my child after school hours until I return home, will I be able to hire (through agency) on a part-time basis.
Or will I have to go through the whole immigration process - takes 6 months - to hire a part-time care giver.
Or my other question is - if I hire a full-time home - female driver - can I ask her to take care of my son after school hours at home, in addition to dropping off / picking up my child from school.
Ok thanks, Do you mean just salary alone is 3500 per month . Then other benefits are additional. Is this the possible rate for live-in ( i mean with or without accommodation).
Ok thanks.
3500 per month minimum
How much am I looking to pay?
Hello Aliyah, if someone is reliable, ofcourse we would be willing to pay. Trying to have two people can be more difficult to coordinate. But, being a driver is only to drop off and pick up and just a day job. Not like working for a company driver where they have to work / drive all day long. What is the general mentality of people looking for such work, just money alone or perks like 1 month off every year, Plus flight back home even every year etc. Food or accommodation etc. I would appreciate your insights.
Thanks everyone for your reply. I have heard that it can be a long process to hire someone as live-in (not sure if I am right). But, if my wife gets a job at a short notice and my child needs to attend school, then, if we need to hire a nanny (part-time) say from12-5pm, can we do it directly through agency, so that we will be able to find someone sooner, rather than sponsoring that takes a long time (even months). Please let me know. I hope I made myself clear and my apologies if I my querry was not understandable.
