Passport specimen for Entry Visa

Hi, I wanted to call my parents from iindia here in doha but their passports are very different from mine. SO , anybody please help me if there is some peculiar specimen of the passport copies required to apply for their entry visa?? Do they need only the photo page and secondary information page of the passport or even the pages with the signature and stamps of the officials on passports?? As those pages are missing in their passports. Please help me.

The only type of passport now being acceptable nowadays is the machine-readable passport. If they do not have one, they should arrange to have their current passport changed to a machine-readable one. This could be done without any problems at the passport office in your country.
