To each his own. I am not a "pet person", but I have no problems with others having and loving them.

quagmire, i don't know about others or ur parents for disliking PETS but i would surely give u my reasons..here it goes :

1.I m very scare of ny kind of DOMESTIC PETS..

2.yes, cleanliness is one reason too.

3.I have my baby and husband to look after..i can't think for any THIRD PARTY.

4.I don't care evenif they r loyal to their masters..I've read one news long back where a PET DOG ate up the face of his master while he was sleeping and he has to literally undergone for facial surgery..

5.I don't allow my family members to wear shoes inside my house...they have to keep it at the place which i've assigned for it...Just think about the PETS..they have to go barefoot outside..YUCK..it means i have to wash their legs everytime whenever they r out..NO WAY...

By soniya• 28 Jun 2010 17:39

By soniya• 28 Jun 2010 17:38

quagmire, i didn't say that i allow to keep the shoes outside coz even i hate to see that in the early morning..we have shelf inside..thats it...no need to go in detail...

Quagmire, I am thanking god that you are not married and please dont marry as well if you are going to be rude with her.

Shoes are to be wear outside only. At home we wear home slippers but we dont carry dirty shoes in our house.

By anonymous• 28 Jun 2010 17:32
anonymous

Beauty I am not even married.. I meant if i were and my wife does not allow me to wear my shoes in my own house, well she won;t be my wife to begin with.

One thing to be clean and organized, another thing to be retarded about it.

and i hope you don't place your shoes outside your house in the hallway because some cultures hate getting out of their apts in the morning and smelling feet incense.

I am not being rude. it's an open talk

It's all personal preference really. I have a house full of animals that live alongside me, my husband and our 2 small children. We all have rules that make sure we all live together happily - no-one can just do what they want!

By beautynbrain• 28 Jun 2010 17:29

Dont worry Soniya..I will keep trying.. Just one thing to say, here pets are not like our Indian monkeys. They are really well mannered and understanding.

quagmire...you are very rude to your wife...you must respect her. how can you be rude to your wife and love your pet????

By soniya• 28 Jun 2010 17:27
soniya

beauty, but still ur positive approach towards the PETS won't help in washing my brain..

By soniya• 28 Jun 2010 17:26
soniya

quagmire, u never know me..i can even use that tactics told by u..lolzz

But plzz respect ur BETTER HALF...ok..In our culture, we don't allow shoes to wear it inside house..

Soniya,

1. Domestic pets are really safe to have. Infact initially they are scared of you.

2. Pets know how to clean themselves and believe me they keep themselves upto date all the time

3. I do understand that.

4. Pets go wild only if masters harras them or beat them or dont feed them.

5. Not all pets go out..My kitten is an indoor cat.

By anonymous• 28 Jun 2010 17:23

dog ate his master's face? hmm interesting.

make sure you force your kids and ur tulip husband to put an oxygen mask also, u never know what if the air has bad particles in it. if my wife don't ALLOW me to wear my shoes when i want to, i'd stick it in her mouth instead of her assigned place!

There are no regulations against taking your kitten in your car with you but please remember the following things:

1. Your kitten should be kept in a cat crate at all times. If she got scared or excited and started to jump around then it can actually be very dangerous as they can easily get down near the pedals and cause an accident. You should also have them in a crate in case they escape when you open the door. Even if you think your kitten is the loveliest, most friendly kitten in the world, it'll still scratch and bite you if she gets scared.

2. You can't take your kitten in anywhere with you (malls/shops/restaurants) and you must never leave them unattended in the car. So unless one of you is prepared to sit in the car with her in a crate then she won't be able to go anywhere with you. But then why would you take her anyway?!

3. Some cats find car journeys very stressful so it's advisable to get her used to her crate at a young age. Take her for short 5 minute drives so she gets used to being in the crate and the car. When you have to take her to the vet or leave Qatar with her, you'll be glad you got her used to them as she will be stress-free :D

I understand Soniya and it is your right to love/hate whatever in life. I just don't get the logic.

Could you share these reasons with the rest of us?

My parents used to hate pets too, thinking they are dirty and my mom was kinda scared of them, before i went and bought them the cutest little persian cat and now they are in LOVE with him.

quagmire, it doesn't mean that the things that u like may be liked by others as well..There could be many reasons for me for not liking pets...Its gud that u like and love them..But keep it with u...It was my thought and thus i commented same..thnx..PEACE..

quagmire people have their own choices. few die for pets and few dont even like to see them. its their own wish. but for me my kitten is like my baby.

i just don't get how some people hate pets. I mean they are so honest, loyal, friendly and fun. They don't lie over anything just little babies. They do what you like at all times. How could you hate them?

You think they are dirty? No they are not if you take care of them.
