qatar visa

Dear all,

I've a question regarding Qatar Visa. I'm currently working in UAE and got an offer from Qatar. So I resigned from my current position but the employer is not cancelling my visa and is making issues.

So in this scenario, if I take my passport and leave from here, then can I get a work visa in Qatar?

Urgent response is required. Thanks.

So, conclusion is:

Take back my complaint from MOL UAE, and then go on vaccation to my home country, and then to Qatar. Correct?

What about release letter and NOC? (Qatar employer asked about it)

Sur, It was possible to stamp your residence permit in Qatar without cancelling your RP in the UAE. You should have just gone on leave and entered Qatar on employment or you could have traveled straight from there, but now you are in deep trouble as you have registered a complaint against your company. You will have to wait till the legal process gets completed and it is a very l-e-n-g-t-h-y process and your new employer will not surely wait for all this time. Better compromise if you feel you have better prospects in Qatar and take back the labor complaint if possible and fore-go your rights. Otherwise there is no way out. You loose there and you you loose here too. Best of Luck!!

Don't worry. You can have RP in Qatar without cancelling UAE RP.But make sure you are coming from your native. I know somebody who did the same without any problem. Any how since you filed complaint against your present company, there is nothing to hop in UAE. So tell them going for vacation. Need a long leave and will come back :)

And I'm not sure if my Qatar employer will wait for such time, cuz I've already requested them to delay tge joining date ... And now again my procedure is delayed.

Thanks everyone for ur worthy feedback.

My current situation is that I've resigned and I'm sitting at my accomodation from last 20 days after completing my notice period. Employer is not cancelling the visa and he is asking me to go on leave and ur visa will be automatically blocked - I've requested them multiple times but no output. Then I went to labor ministry and launched a complaint, and given appointment date of 15 feb ( both parties should be present) - and as expected my employer didn't arrived. So now MOL gave me date of 2 March.

If employer is again absent on that date, they will give me another date ( and at third attempt they will give me a new date at court). And m already fed up of this procedure. So thats why m looking for options.

As per my HR it is difficult to stamp Qatar RP, if you have valid RP from any of the GCC countries as they need NOC from other GCC and have to pay extra 2000 QAR for double residency..I suggest you to talk to your existing company and future company and make proper exit and entry

Definetly possible to get visa in qatar if your UAE visa is still valid..keep in mind you if you exit without cancelling UAE visa and join here, you can never enter/transit in any visa in your lifetime to UAE. (means your uae employer will cancel your visa after 6 months by making police complaint that you absconded and you will be blacklisted in UAE). try to get cancelled your uae visa. or go to your home, e-mail your resignation and come back here for safer side and forget UAE in futue.
