Qatar Vs Abu Dhabi

I have got an offer to work in an Abu Dhabi based company. Some of those I met say Abu Dhabi is much greener and a better city to live-in. Can anyone who's been in Abu Dhabi shed some light on the following aspects in Abu Dhabi's terms please?

a) In Qatar, to sponsor one's immediate family member (parent, sibling), wife has to hold a Resident visa. In Abu Dhabi?

b) To sponsor family, one requires a minimum salary of QAR10k and above.

c) Exit permit/Sponsor's approval required in Qatar.

d) I get 21 days Leave pay and company provided return tickets annually in Qatar .

e) My work place would be located in Industrial area in Abu Dhabi. Anything important I need to consider in residing nearby or travelling to/from?

d) Rent of a two bed-room unfurnished apartment in Abu Dhabi?

e) Credit card or applying for a loan at a Bank in Qatar would require a minimum salary of QAR 10,000 (mostly). What would be the case in Abu Dhabi?

Thanks.

Thanks everyone. Very helpful.

Do Utility bills like electricity & water, come on Tenant's name in Abu Dhabi (I think this is not the case in Qatar)?

a. if u want apply family visa in uae for your wife and kids , u need a tenency contract copy municipality approved villa+ electricity bill under your name.if your salry less than 20000 you cant be able to apply residence visa for your parents.

2.abu dhabi industrial area( musaffa).room rent for municipality approved 2 bedroom flat around 60000-70000 dhirham. but if u are looking unauthorized building( no municipality approval) 2 bed room flat with water and electricity between 30000-40000.

3.very easy to get credit card. if u are company listed, then only salary certificate required

credit limit up to your salary.

4. abu dahbi ind area, its very big area,u will get everything better than from qatar(car, furniture food)

5.uae labour law for annual leave is 21 working days(around 30 days).per year

if u facing to get a family visa(only for your wife and kids) ,then visit any typing center people(preffered indian typing center)and ask them to help you (pay around 3000 they will arrange aproved tenency contract

best of luck,

u can check uae property web sites for rent in Abu Dhabi. Also I heard they have made a new rule by which tenants cannot stay in Dubai emirate and commute to Abu Dhabi. In Dubai earlier the salary for sponsoring family used to be 4000AED.for credit card u can enquire with Abu Dhabi commercial bank, mashreq bank etc. you can check in gulf news, khaleej times, national news paper or search in Google regarding these questions.
