Requirements / documentation for going to UAE by Road

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to travel to UAE by road (in my own car) during Eid. What is/are the documentations/ approvals required on self and on my car before I head to UAE?

I am holding a manager visa, so I know I can avail on arrival visa in UAE. But I am concerned about the transit through Saudi.

Need advices please....

What follows is how things work if you are in the UAE and want to travel to Doha via SA by car. Maybe it will lead you in the correct direction. The Saudi Embassy in the UAE no longer issues visas. About a year or two ago, the embassy outsourced that task to VFS Tasheel: https://www.vfstasheel.com/VFSTasheel/html/AE/English/about_us.jsp# If you contact VFS Tasheel, they may be able to assist you in getting a Saudi transit visa coming from Qatar. From the UAE side, the total cost for a Saudi transit visa is about 250AED.
