Seeking Help Urgently
Hi
I applied Resident visa for my family, After received the check list from immigration officer.
I checked next day the status of application There was two options one is Residency and another one is visit. I clicked residency and typed the application number but status showing this type of visa is not valid.
Secondly, i clicked visit and typed the same application number and now status shows, the application is under review.
My Question is i applied Residency visa, but status showing in visit visa. Is they change my RP application to visit.
My application number starts with VB.

I received Visa with 6 month validity . Pls clarify , i applied RP visa but in the system showing expired date 6 months from the todays date.
is this RP visa or visit visa ...

Not to worry. I applied for my baby recently(1 week back). It was the same. Just take the receipt to gate 1 once it shows ready to print.

And one more question, actually my application content showing family visa, not mentioned visit or residence. But i applied gate no 3, gharafa which is only for residence section.
Pls advise.

its not an issue. i had applied for my child's RP. it was the same.
Donot worry...It is normal
First only a visit will be issued...
And upon completion of the Residency procedures ...such as medical and finger , the permanent will be updated.
For your info, my friend applied for Residency visa for his son and the same also he is able to track under Visit category.
But it is very important to mention Residency in the application form and you have done that. Nothing to worry.
