Return of furniture allowance ?

Pl advise what is the provision, in govt service, with
regard to
furniture allowance upon termination of contract. Does one need to
return part of the furniture allowance if the contract is terminated by
him at the end of the first or second year of the contract. If so what
is the regulation (law) guiding such issues, does the labour law talk
about this?
Your contract or company policy has to state for how long the allowance is provided. If it's 4 years and they've already paid it to you, you will have to return 3/4 of it after year 1, 2/2 after year 2 etc. If it was a single allowance (again, check your company's policy or your contract), you might not have to return anything.
Policies? You work at companies with polices? Things aren't made up on the spot? What a novel idea...
was in QP.
The furniture "grant" was depreciated at 25% per annum but I think the duration has now been reduced. Someone else will know the current rate I am sure.
some companies got it in the Policies that if you leave before 3 years of receiving the Furniture allowance, than you have to pay part of it back. It might be the case here as well ??
