Hello we will be moving to Qatar in a few days and have found a villa in al garrafa,I'd like to know about the place and what it is like.We have 3 big dogs and love outdoors so can we walk with the dogs in al garrafa.
i guess much depends upon which compound your villa is in. In our neighborhood there are a lot of expats who have dogs - there is a BIG area where many walk their dogs. I can't say any have had any problems.
Al Garaffa is probably going to be a neighbourhood of choice in the near future as there are 2 new huge malls underconstruction. There is also easy access to much of the city via D-Ring road.

We used to live in gharafa, we have a black lab dog, never had any problems walking him at all. People were quite interested actally.
I think the gharafa not bad area but most of people there are not like this and see dogs outdoors
