Scottish Bank Notes
I'm trying to change Scottish bank notes for Riyals. I've tried loads of exchanges and banks but they all say no as they say they can't sell them back here. Does anyone know for sure who does take them now please? Someone else asked back in 2007 and was told Al Sardan but I tried them today and they don't. Please don't reply with "why don't you try..." I'm only asking if you know somewhere for sure, OR you're a Scot who's heading back and willing to trade for a good rate as I'm getting fed up pounding the streets.
pw if yer dont get the same rate as the English Pound dont exchange them, As Cabbage said just hold on to them and spend them when you go back.
i will exchange for you !
i have sent you a PM, im heading back to scotland for a vacation soon anyway! I had the same issue when i arrived !
lol at you plonker lol
Can see the point you're making - but if it does not get him a good exchange value - is it worth it?
He may be better living of the money he gets now - save his Scottish pounds and use them when he gets back :-)
you plonker.. perhaps he needs the money to spend here because he's just arrived :o)
Hang on to them - they are still legal tender in England. So when you go back you can spend them :-)
yes - and english taxi drivers claiming it's not legal tender...
Brings back memories of going to Blackpool and the Scots getting 90 pence for their pounds :o)
