Shameful act

I am from India, been here since a month. Sad too see many uncivilized people in qatar and to my shock most of them are from India....i thought Qatar would be a clean country and things like throwing wastes, spitting on the roads etc wont be tolerated here....but people here eat and throw the remains everywhere other than the dustbins, even if the dustbins are 1meter away they would not find the need to use that....& such disgusting acts are done mostly by keralites..I did stop a few from doing that...but i feel this wont stop and these are no illiterate people ,they dress like they own qatar but have habits like illiterates.... because of these people we Indians get a bad name. Grow up people.

Let's leave nationality bashing out of this. Spitting and clearing of nasal blockages in public is unsanitary and a no no. Let's avoid it.

It doesn't have anything to do with a nationality. Anyone who spits in the streets is a pig!

The socially acceptable habit in India of throat clearing with volume is particularly revolting but those from Kerala seem to specialize in it. We chaps from Sri Lanka never do this frown on such a disgusting habit as it is gives a bad impression to all of us who might be mistaken for being from Kerala land. I wear flip flops and often slip on the street because Kerala people are gobbing everywhere. What to do.

While your points are valid .. I see no point in pin pointing nationality ..the same way its not a good thing to say Land cruiser = Qatari .. I am Indian as well .. and I don't throw waste at road side.

Hello Sharath nice to meet you in qatar.

Hey libbysen...guess u hv a problem understanding & reading English ... Because i hv clearly mentioned that i hv stopped few & tried my best... But can't keep stopping everyone ryt ?? So mentioned this in a forum....addressing such stupid habits brings shame to India ?? But doing such things does not bring shame ?? Time for you to grow up man :) and it's not being coward to put up such things... It's done so that we improve n show how good are we...

Hello sharath kumar I am sure you'r an indian, if you are really worried about this matter you should have the guts to question him in person, you are coward and posted this information, advising the whole indians, you are insulting the whole indians because you noticed some idiot outside, there are lot of things to be discussed, now you are doing a shameful act, first you try to have a good impression that you are an indian, dont try to complain about an indian to another national's website. Grow up.

Young man I appreciate you. I was like you when i was entered new in middle east. But no one cares and nothing is going to happen. May be people will trouble you. Anyway try your best. From my side an advice make your side safe always before proceeding anything especially in qatar.

Maybe arabs do... Why follow them ?? We are "supposedly" the smarter people ryt ? And am not talking about the laborers and other workers... These are qualified people who do this and from what i have observed is Indians top the list... That's the reason i posted this... Else i would take such a step to blame my own countrymen.

U don't need a perfect world for things like this ... These are small things that can make a difference... & since u mentioned y not improve myself first.. i see to it that i don't do anything bad if i can't do anything good for the society.. That's the least ppl can do ! & the other person gave examples like if everything is perfect... We don't need banks etc... That's not even a valid example for this issue... Simple point .. There are plenty of dustbins in Qatar & we Indians still don't feel the need to use it and that's disgusting.

And dont think Indians only do this. Most of the nations do this. May be you new here. You see Indians only spit on the road but i saw so many arabs spit and throw waste on peoples face. Its true bro. Ask some old people working here. You can get so many stories.

If positive is there then there must be negative that is nature. If everyone is good then no need police to protect public, no need banks to protect money, no need military to protect nation, no poverty in this world. But it will not work like that because this is the nature of this world. You can find positive and negative in everything.
