Shipping my car to the United States
I bought a new Hyundai Sonata last December when I arrived in Doha from Seattle. I'm leaving soon and would like to take my car with me to the U.S. Does the US allow cars to be imported from Qatar or do they require certain specifications? I would be grateful if anyone has had this experience and could share information.
Yes, you can import a car from Qatar to the U.S., but it must meet U.S. emissions and safety standards set by the EPA and DOT. Basically, you will need to have the vehicle inspected and modified to meet these standards if it does not already comply.
If you have doubts, consider using services from a freight forwarder. I've personally tried DocShipper Qatar, they helped me a lot to ship my car in the past :)
Here is the link to their website if you need it : https://qatar.docshipper.com/en/
I hope this helps, and good luck with your move! :)

You should ask an freight forwarder in the US - cars sold here may not meet emission requirements in the US. You want to be sure, there was a Range Rover that was destroyed several years ago (crushed) because it did not meet US standards - and those standards can vary by state. California has one of the strictest requirements.
we can help you to shipping your car to USA
