Tourist visa for Indian husband of US Citizen...?

Hi all,
Anyone have any ideas about this one? I know for a US citizen, getting a tourist visa is very easy. But, my friend (US citizen)is planning on visiting me in Doha and she is married to an Indian citizen. He may or may not have residency in the US by the time they visit (would that make a difference?). Anyway, of course I want them both to be able to visit me. Is this possible? If so, what do I need to do to get him a tourist visa? I have heard it is extremely difficult to get tourist visas for Indians. Is this true? Have any of your had your Indian friends (NOT relatives) come visit? If so, how did you do it?

Thanks!

we used to take indian, srilankan visiting visas ( 14 days)from qatar international hotel (national), doha palace, gulf horizon etc. 200 QR is for the visa fee and 150 QR their service charge ( service charge changes). you just need to give them ur passport/ ID copy and the visitors passport copy... thats all

Good day & hope you are doing well.

Yes its easy for your friends husband to be here, all what you need to do is to apply a Business Visit Visa which is valid for 3 months for your friends husband who's an INDIAN through someone doing PR services in doha. It can also be arranged by them to extend the stay.

To help you out, you can call MR.AWADD(sudani) who speaks english very well, his mobile:5845825,landline:4443469. His running the trading co/PR services and their office is located in first floor of sofitel(where they sell computer spares). They charge around Qr.1500/- for visa.

My friend this is just to help you out, i have no connection with them in any manner. I came to know them when i wanted to apply for visa for one of my relation.

Hope it helps!

hi your best bet is to get a hotel visa for him.i have brought both my indian friends and relatives here through that. visit visa for relatives is ok but for friends may be tougher.go to any of the 3, 4,or 5 star hotels and they wil help you out.
