Urgent Doha Advice/Information Required

Hello

I would be very grateful if someone could please provide me with some advice concerning the average living cost in Doha.

I have been offered a position with a monthly wage of 23,000 QAR - including free accommodation. I wondered whether this salary would allow me to save around 9,000 QAR a month, or do you think that the cost of living in Doha will mean that I will need all of my monthly wage just to survive?

Any advice or information you can provide will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

if you are single, or with your spouse, no children, yes, you can save 9k or even more.

Depends, as above mentioned, about your life style but if accommodation is free, you have separate car allowance (if not, put circa 2000 rials/month for a budget car) and no other expenses as kindergarten, school, maid, you can manage to cook and you avoid expenses as bars, clubs, etc I think you can save even 13 k (10 k per month is more than enough for Doha)

Paul, may be you should tell about no of your family members you have. It depends on your lifestyle as well.

I don't see why you its difficult to save 9k if you won't have to pay rent. I think its quite possible.

i think it depends what your company is paying for and if you have kids, also on your lifestyle. i do think that 9,000 out of 23,000 is quite realistic though.
