Vistor Visa

Has anyone else heard that vistors coming to Doha are only being allowed to stay until 28th November? I've heard that people are experiencing problems at the airport as the authorities are only allowing tourists / visitors to remain in Doha until 28th? Anyone know why? Is this true? I have people coming to stay as of 19th Nov who have already booked and paid for flights? What is going on?

It's because of the UN Conference to be held here in Doha. From what I've read, they can come to Doha provided they have a pre-approved Visa. Immigration will not issue Visa on Arrival on these dates. This applies to all nationalities.
