Which is better Hyundai Santa Fe or Kia Sorento

Hi all,

Just wondering if any one can help me out.

I'm looking for a crossover SUV for my family to use.

I'm interested in buying a Hyundai Santa Fe or a Kia Sorento. Can anyone please tell me which is better and why?

I've read a lot of reviews but most of them are coming from drivers/owners that are outside Qatar, so I want to hear the opinions of the drivers/owners here.

Thank you very much in advance! :)

I've driven both vehicles and would prefer the Santa Fe anytime over the KIA. Reason being the sturdy vehicle that the Santa Fe is. Handles well on turns as well as in soft soul conditions. Besides maintenance cost wise....tou got a money saver for sure with the Hyundai. If you're looking for a second hand one...im selling mine as I'm leaving the Country. ....this is a 2009 model but feels like a 2012 on the road . Let me know if you're interested on 6647 0585. In terms of looks definitely Santa Fe with no argument, in terms of resale value definitely Santa Fe. As for the sorento you can get a brand new one 2014 0km for QR 90k or less.. the Santa fa is lil bit more expensive and you can barely find used ones for sale. i would definitely go with santa fe.

IMO you should go for Sanata Fe. It's a good looking value for money car than the Sorento with a better cabin space & comfort. Power output is almost same, both comes in 2.4, 3.3 & 3.5 engines as well. Unlike Sorento, Sanata Fe is a big hit in most of the developed economies especially in US.

Maintenance is not at all gonna a big thing with Hyundai in Qatar. My uncle own a 2007 Tucson, which is still in good condition & the regular service invoice cost only around QR.1K. Donno why public in Qatar simply going all the way behind Nissan/Toyota. In my experience Toyota's service/maintenance cost is atleast double of a Hyundai. But still people blindly believes Toyota is the ONLY best car maker. If you take the example of Fortuner/Sanata Fe, you can see the difference. Fortuner is a decade old design with a very bad interior design. For exterior, every other year they used to update the head lamp or the brake lamp & call them "THE ALL NEW 2014 FORTUNER''. Toyota knows people in Arabian Gulf will rally behind them whatever they offer !!!

Hyundai is better than KIA. but in Qatar its better to buy Toyota or Nissan or mitshubishi in the view of maintenance.
