Why are you still single?

Are you afraid to remain single forever?

this is one testimony from a friend:

"i am nearing my 30th year of stay on earth and honestly i have this so called "fear" of being single throughout my life. i have had boyfriends but the relationships didn't last. i don't like being teased about my age and i even chopped off the plant in front of our house believed to have a curse on being single. Well i admit that's paranoia in some way but i think other ladies would have this problem too."

any comment about this?

As i should say... being single life was good enough -- thats a perfect 500riyals freedom. But it could be better when you meet your Mr./Ms Right. The point is he or she must be the right person for you, otherwise why not stay single and enjoy?

i just came up to have interest to tackle this topic about the "age of confusion". Maybe younger girls are more attracted to guys who are "care-free" and the like. But again, this is my opinion, i think it's not totally always good. I for one prefer the one who have real good thoughts about life and situation, rather than just simply playing around.

The ones that did were damn pretenders, cheaters, serpents, or how you name them for you. I'd rather stay by myself. I'm worth much more than that.

Come on GUYS!!!!

Don't be sad for being single!!! their are plenty of nice girls out there waiting for nice guys, who will take care of them, be nice to them and threat them with respect, honesty and equality the way every lady should be treated anyways. it goes without saying...

I am sorry, but if there is only person to blame it's yourself guys!!!

Come on, seriously, don't be shy to talk to a lady in a coffee, in a restaurant, in clubs...

Do you really care if she rejects you??? most probably you'll never see her again!!!

IF YOU ARE SCARED TO TALK TO HER WHY WOULDN'T SHE AS WELL BE SCARED TO TALK TO YOU?????????

it's all about confidence and attitude!!!

the secret of "relationships" is confidence!!!

Have confidence in yourself, approach the girl like you would approach a friend of yours and SMILE!!!

it's that easy. Have confidence in yourself (imagine you're talking to a man for the first 5 seconds only LOL...)

BUT under no circumstances say that "you like her", just say that she seems to be an interesting person and that you would like to get to know her more. Ask for her number (DON'T GIVE YOURS, it's USELESS.a girl will never call you the first time, unless she really fell in love at first sight with you)

SO GO OUT THERE, and don't be shy!!!

i will open a "HITCH" school very soon guys i promise!!!

their is nothing wrong in being single, its not the end of the world.

i dont think their is much for someone to do to find that special one.

as long as you're open to meet those new ppls and don't have programmed judgement about certain pple things should be smooth.

i am still 25 years old and i am with a special one but i didnt knock ma head to the wall to get here, it just happened.

relationships seems to be like that in generaly, my advise is to socialise and be open minded.

an 30 is not old, 30 is pretty young and hot no need to fear :)

Hmmm child or husband? I would ideally like both, but if it's a choice I'll take the kid.

25 to 35 and they would rather have a child than to have a husband (this is in general terms). It seems that many carreer women nowadays enjoys their singlehood and does not want to be somehow "clipped" by the taught of having a husband to contend with.

It still good to hear that a lot of men past 25 are still single (which for me is a rarity) for carreer men. Usually marrying age for men is at most 25 to 30 years old.

For ladies who were pre-occupied by success in their carreers, usually if they pass the 30 years old level, they can either go for younger men or as I have said, many (my opinion based on women I talked) would rather have a child rather than to have a husband

Gosh.. is this REALLY sad?! I have the kids bit done already though.. lol.

I'm either mad about them, and they're not about me- or they're mad about me and consequently send me running for the hills. Oh dear...:(

This situation is faced by many young men who are more carrier oriented than their coutnerparts in their early 20s, therfore neglecting the factor of finding perfect girl for themselves at the right time.

The things get solved after some time as this issue can never be solved at once.

1. In general, your ex-boyfriends are:

Nice guys. You're still in touch with a few.

Miserable bastards. They'll get their comeuppance one day.

Missing in action. They never leave forwarding addresses.

2. You're on a first date with a handsome man who tells great jokes and asks you thoughtful questions. After he walks you to your doorstep, he says he'd love to see you again. You're:

Delighted, of course!

Momentarily elated, then panic-stricken.

Wondering what your kids would look like.

3. When you meet your single women friends for a drink, you usually:

Sit at the bar. Sometimes you'll chat with the people sitting nearby or play a game of pool.

Find a nice, quiet table in the corner, where you can chat and catch up.

Survey the place for attractive, unattached men. If no one sees anyone intriguing, then you move on to the next place.

4. When you get a wedding invitation, you think:

"I think I'll wear my red silk dress."

"Oh no! I've only got seven months to find a date!"

"I hope my ex isn't going."

5. After work, you're most likely to be found:

Zonked out in front of the television.

Having dinner with friends.

Talking to your shrink about why you can't find a relationship.

6. At parties, you:

Introduce yourself to people you don't know.

Ask the hostess who the single men are, and then focus on them.

Spend most of your time talking to friends and acquaintances.

7. You've gone on several dates with a nice man. You send him an e-mail asking if he'd like to get together soon, and he says he's been really busy with work. This means...

He's blowing you off.

He's busy with work. So you decide to make him a home-cooked meal and bring it to his office.

You have no idea. But the ball's in his court, so you'll just have to wait and see.

8. When you find yourself spending the weekend alone, you usually:

Find some kind of project, like repainting the kitchen or tinkering with your screenplay.

Bury yourself in ice cream and cable TV.

Log onto an Internet dating service and see if you can find a man for Saturday night.

9. Complete this phrase. A woman needs a man like:

A fish needs a bicycle.

A man needs a woman.

A fish needs water.

10. Committing yourself to one person for life sounds:

Like a mixed blessing. Heavenly. Terrifying
