Dell Inspiron 1525 WIFI problem
By benocean78 •
I just bought a Dell 1525 and the Wifi light won't turn. It doesn't detect any wireless network. I've downloaded and updated all the updates but no use. Is there a quick fix or am I at the mercy of the "good for nothing customer service" in Doha?
Just change your country to USA or any other country, not Qatar. Remove driver and install it again and it will work. Dell Wifi does not work when Qatar is selected as country.
If the LED light for Wifi you're referring to, then its technically a hardware problem. Basically you have warranty for that computer, just return it to the seller and tell them your problem.
Dear Benocean
If u have window vista home premium installed then this can its firewall setting becoz some time its cant connect to open or unsecured networks. Kindly check your network settings. or disable fire wall or add your network to your setting.
Second may be your IP address issued by Qtel is not correct kindly also check this.
Also check your WLAN card weather its working or not.
Other wise system is ok i am also using same Dell system.
reinstall the drivers.
