GET SMS Working with IPHONE And Vodafone

Sending SMS on my iPhone with Vodafone sim is now working. Maybe the steps I'd mentioned and followed yesterday did it for me. It's kinda a day delayed but it doesn't matter now. The importang thing is I now can send sms.

About the 3.0 update, I did not advised it for every_mother's in order to send sms. Every_mother's mentioned about text forwarding which is not possible in old firmwares but it is now in 3.0 firmware.

Mine wasn't sending SMS at first, but it is working now - i'm not sure if they just fixed the problem, or i called them last week (111) and they gave me a number to type in to activate the SMS. I tried that but it didn't work at the time, and it is working now, no idea if they just fixed the iphone problem, or if that number eventually worked?!

SMS is working from all iPhone software versions on Vodafone Qatar's network, you don't need firmware 3.0.

To every_mothers, you can now forward SMS messages with the 3.0 firmware. You just need to upgrade.

I have the same problem, can't send SMS on iPhone using Vodafone sim. I've tried everything I know (restoring, network resetting,etc.) but to no avail. With Qtel sim, SMS is perfectly working.

I'd also followed instruction on this thread, but can't seem to have it work for me.

there is no problem in sending txts from iphone may be u dont know how.....all i know is there was a problem in forwarding texts not sure if that is sorted out in the latest models.

please can u tell me how much the vodafone sim cost??
