XP is more reliable than Vista. Your PC needs to have a good graphics card for you to be able to better appreciate Vista.

As usual software cycle, the older will be much stable rather the the new release. Even Vista launch 2007(if I'm not mistaken), still I consider its new and need more time to fine tuning. But Vista have a down side, it needs to run on more 'higher performance' hardware, while XP happily support current hardware 'speed' and its available on 64bit.

I guess best stick with XP. Cheers!

why are you guys hate Vista so much. I agree Vista sucks but that was before SP1. If you have SP1 installed, then that would be another story. Maybe also you guys have laptops or a desktops which can merely run Vista? :D

I installed Vista simply because my PC exceeds the minimum requirement and also i like the UI, the effects especially the Dreamscene in which you can put a video as your wallpaper.

I am a gamer so I get also the benefit of Vista's DX10 technology for the added nice graphics effects compared to XP's DX9.

I have XP Pro SP3, Vista SP1 and Windows 7 installed in my computer. Of the three, I like Windows 7 :D why? coz it has a much nicer UI and a very fast OS coz it's not eating much resources from your PC. But then again, this is only RC1 release so we still have to wait for the official release on 1st quarter of 2010 as Microsoft said.
