Can anyone please help me, I installed windows vista home premium on my laptop HP dv 2000
Originally windows xp was installed now I am facing problem I cannot find my built in camera on my system but camera works during video chatting.
I reinstalled driver from manufacturer support site, during installation I receive message, device driver installed successfully but windows cannot verify the publisher of this device software.

Hi,

can you see the cam in device manager.

if you can see the cam in devcie manager, right click and seelct properties and you can see the cam company anme. if you search for the company web address u will be able to get the software.

Also you can take device id which when used for searching in google will help to find the software compatable for vista.
