I think you need a router and to make sure you can call on this no. 5576440 for a guy called ahmed he will tell you what to do even you can buy anything you need from him.

cisco (linksys) wag200g has a habit on disconnecting at higher speed. but speedtouch has excellent stable download rate. if you want wireless and high speeds it is better to use both in combination.

You have 2 choice;

Choice 1: Buy a Wireless Router and connect it to the ethernet port of the Qtel ADSL Modem.

or

Choice 2: Buy a Wireless ADSL Modem Router and connect direct to the telephone wall socket. Remove and keep the QTel Modem.

The choice i would go for is No. 2, as these days a Wireless ADSL Modem Router will cost less than QR 300.00.

Hi Good morning to you, what you need is to buy Wireless - G Linksys ADSL Home Gateway Model No. WAG200G. It come with built in modem. Once you install this wireless router with built in modem, You do not need Qtel Speedtouch Modem anymore. Just do the configuration with the new wireless router. If you want to buy just the wireless router without Built in Modem and intend to use Qtel modem, Im not prefer with that method, becoz not all wireless router are compatible or suitable with Qtel modem. So dont headache becoz just to safe few money. Buy with built in modem. Cheers mate
