I have a Pentax Optio 430 (4.3MP) I can let you have at a bargain price if you want to go second hand! Lovely little camera. VERY easy to use. Just point and shoot in Auto mode. There are several other modes you can use once you feel comfortable.

you can choose any digital camera but what ever u choose will be complicated at start but u'll be use-to after few days or could be few weeks. this is because most of us (including me:) ) whenever buy any appliances or electronics, we just open the pack, throw the "guide book" away and try to connect or switch on the device to use it immediately. b`coz of lacking patience :D(i think...).

my sincere suggestion is to buy a camera of any brand, there r several brands u can see in the market, (i have sony). and when u open the sealed pack then try not to switch on the camera and taking the snaps:). just open the guide book, it will take several minutes, not more than 10 - 15. ur all complications will be gone ;)

These days there are no Cameras that are bad.

One suggestion to anyone buying a simple camera, do not buy anyone with too many Pixels.

Because the more pixels a camera got, the smaller the pixels are and the more "noise" or "Grain" you get on low light pictures. 5Mega Pixels is more than enough. If you go for higher quality(read more expensive ) cameras then they come with more noise processing capabilities inbuilt.

Any new camera from Nikon,Canon, Olympus, Panasonic are good quality.

Myself I prefer Nikon, but that is just me- you can't go wrong with any of the brands I mentioned.
